Developer Obsidian studios has just revealed that a new patch for all the versions of the game, on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, has just been launched, and is available for download on either Steam, the PlayStation Network or on Xbox Live. Fallout: New Vegas has just been launched last week, but the game has already been met with mixed feelings, as although it is an extremely solid RPG with a great story and, it is plagued by many glitches.

On the console side, Xbox 360 users which couldn't load save games because of DLC warnings are advised to save often as a fix for the platform is still in development and testing. According to Obsidian, console users will see an improvement in performance and stability with the new patch. The studio also revealed that it is monitoring forums, Twitter, Facebook and other media outlets for various issues reported by players and that it will continue to try and fix all of them through subsequent title updates for Fallout: New Vegas.
