Or in other words after god damn annoyingly long ass research, so you better be thankful bitches. Tested on Vista x64 with gtx nvidia 8800 The problem was apparently in the v1.5.1 patch if u install this bitch on top of GA mod it messes it up making the animation static aka non-moving-shit.

I couldn't bring myself to play static shit so i had to go researching p_p. Wireshark Silent Uninstall.

Here is how i got it to work on my setup, i do not have it installed to the defult path (Which is something along the lines of C:/Program Files(there may be an 86x here if you are running Vista or 7)/Electronic Arts/Spore) Remove any.package mods you may have added Uninstall the EADM Reinstall the game on-top of where you had it installed before Install the EADM from the disk when asked and run the patch you have saved on your computer The Patch should succeed and will update the EADM aswell Hope you can login! After patching the game Spore will no longer load.

I get these 2 error messages: 1. Configuration Script Failed [2000] 2. Could not find a needed package. The data directory is missing or corrupt. [1004] ---------------------------------------------------------------- I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and then re-patching, same error happened.

I've tried uninstalling both EA download manager and Spore and then reinstalled both and then re-patching, same error happened. Then I tried deleting the package files except Editorsaves from the Spore folder, same error. Currently I am only able to play Spore if I leave it at 1.0 without patching..

Kay so.My creators aren't working; when I try to place anything on the creature the game freezes then stops responding. I can't even see if asymmetry works. I have no.package mods. I use store a bought core game, direct downloaded GA and Creepy & Cute. I just downloaded the patch since I finally got my internet to stop dying constantly.

Apparently the installation of the patch was interrupted the first time while installing it to GA (no idea why). I had to re-download and then install it again. It said it worked. The game worked perfectly fine before patching.now it refuses to let me do anything. If someone could help, it'd be appreciated. **edit** The core game works fine, but I can't play GA, it freezes at random times during gameplay and in the creators. This message was edited 1 time.

Last update was at 17:46:57. Over one year and this 'No walking animation/gliding' bug hasn't been fixed yet? I know that this doesn't happens with everyone, but over one year. I don't know who said that running the game from the installation folder helps.
