Wtf does this have to do with my question. You guys dont know my background so how can you judge? I grew up on vinyl and i probably have amore extensive selection of vinyl than most who have replied here, but it defeats the point of my topic.
I've done the beatchmatching thing and i'll continue to do it, thats not my question. Apart from smart assed immature comments about how i dj ( which apparently alot of you guys know fk all about), all i would like to know is how to get a 'torq' or 'Serato' type layout with traktor.
Tha fact that its got anything to do with my beatmatching skills has fk all to do with it? Quote: hey guys. Wtf does this have to do with my question. Tha fact that its got anything to do with my beatmatching skills has fk all to do with it? Righto settle down. Was not having a go at you. But the answer is no to your question. Traktor is not that customizable. I have started with vinyls since 1991.
I would have started earlier but couldn't get a high paying job at 10 years of age. Quote: I don't understand how you can mix without listening to what you're doing, though. Ok what i use to do on Torq.this isnt for any professional gigs, just fuking around at home. I'm at home fuking around on my decks, one song playing, i know what song i want on next so i load that into deck B. Torq calculates the transient markers and i cue up like normal using the visual transients rather than listen as for some unknown reason i cbf putting my headphones because i'm on the phone or something (who really cares?) so all i want to do is just get beatmatching by using the transients, as the decks were visually aligned with one another. Then when i want to drop the song in i'll put my headphones on do all the eq's etc.
