However, i wonder if the same patch method for star wars battlefront would work? I know indigo prophecy did something similar. It got you to the language selection and video selection screen, they crashed after you selected. This is what happens with double agent.i get to the solo/coop - multiplayer screen, choose solo and it crashes. I wish i knew how to make patches i would try it myself.

Everyone is having problems with this game. Usually when there are various problems with a game someone (DVDRick?) creates a PPF patch or introduces a file that can replace one in the image.and then everyone's problem is solved. With my backup, it will sometimes just go to a black screen and the disc keeps spinning, or it will take me to the stage loading screen and freeze up (disc keeps spinning). Does anyone know how to get our 'request' for a PPF patch introduced to the powers that be to make it happen? I applied pal2ntsc y-fix, and it did the trick, BUT! It only affects the Solo-Coop/Multiplayer selection bit of the game itself. My thought is that once you select, the game executes ANOTHER.elf file to run either Solo or Multi, and since the pal2ntsc y-fix only affects the MAIN.elf it doesn't affect the rest.
